Who We Are
Swim 21 Training is an Irish training provider specialising in aquatic qualifications, leisure industry courses, and health and safety consultancy. Established in 2022 by Evan Mahon, the company was created with one clear goal in mind: to raise standards across the Irish leisure and aquatic industry through practical, engaging, and high quality training.
After progressing through the leisure industry from lifeguard to management and later working in health and safety roles within the sector, Evan saw a gap. Facilities needed training that was not just compliant, but genuinely useful, engaging, and delivered by people who understood the real world environment of pools and leisure centres. Taking a leap of faith, he stepped away from employment to build a training company focused entirely on quality, professionalism, and industry impact.
Where the Name Came From
The name Swim 21 started simply because the idea was born when Evan was 21 years old. When the company later became a limited business and expanded its services, the name evolved to Swim 21 Training to better reflect the full scope of what we do today.

Our mission is to raise standards in the Irish leisure and aquatic industry by delivering high quality lifeguard courses, swim teacher courses, pool plant training, and health and safety consultancy across Dublin and nationwide in Ireland.
We are committed to developing confident professionals, supporting compliance, and promoting a culture of safety in every facility we work with.
